A printed circuit board or PCB is a common term today. Almost everyone understands that the motherboard inside their computer is a type of PCB. Such boards are a part of almost all devices and gadgets we regularly use, the heart of such equipment. Whether it is the FitBit a sportsperson is wearing on their arm, a smartwatch on the businessperson’s wrist, the smartphone belting out rap music for the youngster, or the streetlight lighting up the pathway at night, a printed circuit board drives them all.
However, it is not easy to make a gadget function the way it does. Countless man-hours go into the task. A high-level diagram of the product design process involves several interrelated steps:

Digging deeper into product design, the path from the product concept (Functional Specifications) to the market (New Product Introduction) for any electronic device is as below:

While our OEM customers primarily carry out the activities in red, they offer the blue activities for contract manufacturing. The activities in contract manufacturing can take substantial amounts of time owing to the OEM having to:
- Search for and qualify genuine component suppliers
- Search for and qualify a suitable board fabricator
- Search for and qualify a suitable PCB assembly house
- Search for and qualify a suitable integration, testing, and debugging facility.
Advantages of Full Turnkey PCB Services from PCB Trace Technologies Inc
PCB Trace Technologies Inc offers our OEM customers the advantage of Full Turnkey services. The customer does not have to waste time to search for and qualify multiple sources, as PCB Trace Technologies Inc undertakes the responsibility for the entire contract manufacturing activities.
We procure components from several genuine suppliers, and since we buy them in bulk, we have the advantage of lower pricing that we can pass on to our customers. We also maintain our in-house inventory of electronic components.
We have our own facility for manufacturing high-quality boards. Depending on the Gerber files and the net list from our customers, we fabricate all types of boards, from simple two-sided rigid boards to 40-layer HDI boards, 20-layer rigid-flex boards, or metal-clad boards.
We have experienced engineers and highly sophisticated machines for assembling PCBs in-house. We handle all types of boards, whether they use leaded solder, lead-free solder, through-hole components, or surface mount components. We are also experts in all types of surface finish that customers may want.
Apart from automated testing at all stages of manufacturing and assembly, we also have experienced technical personnel to handle all types of integration, functional testing, and debugging facilities.
Therefore, with PCB Trace Technologies Inc as their contract manufacturer, our customers have many advantages like not having to expend their valuable time, energy, and resources in looking for genuine components at reasonable costs, arranging to procure them from different sources, and then searching for someone to assemble them. In fact, our full turnkey PCB solutions offer our customers:
- Substantial reduction in operational costs
- Identification of potential issues
- Streamlining customer’s management.
However, this is not all, as PCB Trace Technologies Inc offers many other advantages.
Instant Full Turnkey Quote on PCB Trace Technologies Inc
We have revamped and updated our website PCB Trace Technologies Inc. Customers can get an instant quote, order their PCBs, and monitor the progress of their project from the comfort of their homes or offices.
Customers can get a full turnkey quote in a few minutes regardless of their BOM size. Whether the BOM has only two items or 300 unique components, the full turnkey quote is near instantaneous.
Our website carries out reference designator checks on the BOM. We compare BOM reference designators with quantities, checking for duplicates or errors in reference designators.
We reach out to 40 different vendors in real time. This allows us to provide up to date prices, while computing our in-house stocks and providing lead time information.
Our easy and intuitive tool on the site can import and process your BOM file with only a few clicks. If your BOM has consigned parts or do not Integrate (DNI) parts for extra control, our tool can handle that as well.
Not only that, but we also add overages automatically based on your component footprint. You can download a detailed Excel format BOM with all URL links of component suppliers including their datasheet links.
Our site offers instant quotes from 1+1 day lead time to 10+10 days lead time for quantities varying from 5 pieces to 500 pieces. Customers can repeat their Full Turnkey Order with a few clicks. They can also duplicate their quote with minor changes and for this they do not have to reenter the entire specifications again.
Instant Full Turnkey Order on PCB Trace Technologies Inc

How to Use PCB Trace Technologies Inc Website to your Advantage
Click on My Orders, and either Login with your email/password, or Signup for an Account if you are a new user.

Once you are in, you will come to Request a Quote page. Here, you can see your earlier quotes, or you can create a new one.

When you create a new quote, you must Enter your Board Information.

Click on the Next Step to enter detailed information about your Board. Important points here are:
- Number of Layers
- Material Type
- Board Size
- Board Thickness
- Finish Type

At any point, you can Go Back to revise your inputs or click on the Next Step to go to Advanced Options.

In the next step, you will need to upload your BOM file.

Next, you must Define your BOM, which means, you must:
Select from the drop-downs the Mfg. part number, quantity, description, and reference designator rows. Please note Mfg. part number and quantity are available to proceed forward.
Ensure you select the Manufacturing Part Number from your BOM file and not the Supplier Part Number.
Ensure all the Manufacturing Part Numbers are in one single column.
Make the necessary changes before you go to the Next Step

The next step is an important one, for you must ensure information in your BOM is accurate. We have already preselected the parts with issues, click the Delete Selected button above to delete those parts.
Alternately, you can manually review and fix issues associated with those parts.

Now that your final BOM is available to the system, we process your BOM. This takes about a minute, before we proceed to Enter Assembly Information. We mention the time taken for processing all components across vendors on the screen, and you can download the processed BOM.

Important points to enter here are:
- Assembly sides
- Total Number of Items
- Total Components
If there are problems like total number of items not matching up with total components, you must go back and make sure to correct your BOM before you can proceed further.
Once you have sorted all issues, the quote is ready.

Details about the quote are available just below.

Select your Kit and Days and click on the selection. This will allow you to review your order before going forward.

There could still be some issues pending from the BOM. Resolve these before proceeding.

In the next screen, you can enter Shipping/Billing information.

Enter your details or Copy from account to finalize your order.
