Hardware systems require more and more speed to function optimally, and hardware system designs are contributing much to tackle this. The challenge of such designs is to maintain the quality of the signals over long distances on printed circuit boards and wire-harnesses. To handle that, we employ signal-integrity simulations to check the effectiveness of steps taken to ensure signal integrity. We then actually design systems with tested signal-integrity simulations, and these designed systems comply to the standards required for certifications.
